𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀- 𝗔 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀

Tithis determine the auspicious time for performing any ritual. There are favorable and unfavorable Tithis, and each has a list of specific works that can be done or are strictly prohibited. Work done in Tithis in a favourable Tithi is likely to succeed. There are 15 Tithis, which are classified into the following 5 groups:

𝟭) 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀- Fire rules it

1st Tithi- Prathama or Pratipada

6th Tithi- Shashthi

11th Tithi- Ekadashi

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲- Any type of auspicious work like construction or the start of a new venture

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸- Do not start any work during the last 24 minutes of this Tithi.

𝟮) 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀- Earth rules it

2nd Tithi- Dwitiya

7th Tithi- Saptami

12th Tithi- Dwadashi

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲- Fast, donation, purchase of grains, livestock, vehicle purchase, legal work, surgery, and election related works are auspicious.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸- Avoid auspicious religious works like ceremonies, marriage, housewarming, starting new ventures, commencing any auspicious journey, or starting any auspicious work.

𝟯) 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀- Akash rules it

3rd Tithi- Tritiya

8th Tithi- Ashtami

13th Tithi- Trayodashi

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲- Arms and ammunition-related works, court cases, vehicle purchases, and creative works like art, dance, music, etc.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸- Avoid traveling, housewarming, and Yagya during Shukla Paksha of Trayodashi.

𝟰) 𝗥𝗶𝗸𝘁𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀- Water rules it

4th Tithi- Chaturthi

9th Tithi – Navami

14th Tithi- Chaturdashi

𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲- Tantra- Mantra Sadhna and going on pilgrimage

Prohibited work- Avoid starting any auspicious work, housewarming, or even the start of a new venture.

𝟱) 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀- Vayu rules it

5th Tithi- Panchami

10th Tithi- Dashmi

15th Tithi of Shukla Paksha- Purnima

15th Tithi of Krishna Paksha- Amavasya

Work 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲- Any type of auspicious work or ceremony

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸- Apart from Amavasya on all Tithis, any type of auspicious work can be conducted.
