Females — Indian Attire
Indian females are one of the most beautiful women in the world. Who can deny the beauty of an Indian girl adorned in full Indian ethnic attire! Trust me when I say, in today’s world the way we dress impacts our image to a great extent. Moreover, research has shown our attire affects our personality. Also, the clothes we wear affect our way of thinking, our behavior, our mood and even the way we interact with others. Traditional clothing makes you confident and radiant.
There’s a saying “When in Rome”. In the context of clothing, it means one should dress according to the occasion. There is no harm in dressing yourself according to fashion but the mistake we make is when we blindly follow the western culture. In my opinion, traditional clothing has more to do with the climate of the region, rather than fashion trend or any other thing. Cotton clothes, loose-fitting clothing, Saree etc are best for the climate of India.
Dress according to occasion signifies that one should carefully choose attire according to the place and the occasion. Shorts might be a bad choice in Puja and Lehenga might prove to be difficult on the beach.
Traditional Indian clothing not only gives graceful look but also keep you healthy. My point is, one should try to follow the tradition and culture as much they can and stop following western culture without thinking what it denotes. If something is beneficial, follow it by all means. But just because something is trendy anywhere, don’t follow it here.
Being attached to the roots is the best thing you can teach your children. Indian culture is so rich and diverse that makes other countries jealous but still, we blindly follow others. Why? Maybe because over the centuries we have been made to think that Indian is bad and western is good. From Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Gujarat to Assam, there are a plethora of Indian clothing choices which people can wear, that is not only trendy and fashionable but also will look good on you and make you appear graceful — someone who should be respected.
