The Dreams and Astrology

The dreams are a sensory experience that reflects our unconscious mind and soul when our physical body is asleep, leaving a clear or subtle message.

Among 5 stages of sleep, dreams that start at the 4th stage i.e. during Brahma Muhurat have the immediate effect and can be identified through Rapid Eye Movement (REM).

Para- Psychological Aspect:

Dreams are the barometer of the future and when interpreted carefully, will shape our future and develop spirituality. Our external mind controls dreams so while interpreting dreams the implicit thought and the influence surrounding the object are to be considered.

Dreams- Auspicious:

Sighting of cow, elephant, silver utensils, Brahmin, King, ornaments, Moon, tree in full bloom, beautiful garden, lot of famous people or deities, temple of Lord Shiva, oxen, chariot, lotus, white cloth, astrologer, dancing troupe, books, cotton, tour of pilgrimage, riding horse, conquering enemies, bath in sacred river, divine objects, eating rice or curd, drinking sherbet, delivering lectures.

Dreams- Inauspicious:

Dried well or pond, buffalo, owl, burning pyre, solar eclipse, accident, ghost or giants, wearing red or black clothes, shriveled tree, getting insulted, swallowing snake, eating meat, roaming with empty vessel, applying mud on body or getting stuck in mud, riding camel, buffalo or donkey.

Extremely inauspicious dreams:

Theft of precious metal, gems or shoes, abduction of wife, the sighting of a shooting star, drinking oil or ghee, bandwagon, marriage procession, honey bees, getting touched by a handicapped person or a physician.

To maximize the full indulgence of auspicious dreams one shouldn’t go to sleep again and minimize the negativity of an inauspicious dream fall asleep again.

Remedies of an inauspicious dreams

• Reciting ‘Vishnu sahashtranaam’ after a bad dream.

• Speaking about the dream in front of God or Guru.

• • Conducting Havan with red sandal powder dipped in ghee.

• Keep 8 beetle leaves in Shiva’s temple along with ‘Rudrabhishek’.

• Write the dream on white paper then burn it.

• Feed cows with fodder and birds with grains.
