What to do and not to do during the Solar Eclipse?

The earth will witness a rare and full solar eclipse on Thursday December 26, 2019. The eclipse will affect minly the star Moola. Below are Some dos and don’ts which are must to be followed during the eclipse:
Do’s:
- Stop eating after sunset on December 25th.
- • Chant the Surya Gayatri or Hanuman Chalisa or Vishnu Sahastranaam. • During the midpoint of Grahan perform Tarpana of ancestors • Take blessings from Gurus and Mentors • Donate New Clothes and Utensils.
Don’ts
- Don’t eat or donate food that was cooked the previous day. • Do not cook during eclipse time. • Avoid eating and drinking water. • Pregnant ladies should not come out during the eclipse.
- Don’t touch idols of God during eclipse period.
- Pregnant ladies should avoid cutting vegetables and stitching. Instead, they should stay indoors and pray for good health of child.
After eclipse
- Take bath and wear clean clothes.
- 2. Donations to the poor and needy should be done.
- 3. Washing idols with gangajal is useful.
- 4. Pray to good for overall wellbeing of your family.
